Wastewater Gardens® work well all over the world

Sunrise, Legian, Bali
Tens of thousands of constructed wetlands have now been built all over the world. There are also around one hundred Wastewater Gardens in the United States, Mexico, Belize, the Bahamas, France, the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia. This innovative system provides a means to process sewage and make use of valuable resources in a safe and effective method on a number of different scales.

PCRF is currently working in many places around the world to construct systems specially suited to local environments. Though ideal for tropical countries, where the systems benefit from the warm temperatures and year-round sunshine, Wastewater Gardens may also be adapted to cold climates. Recently a demonstration Wastewater Garden was completed at an altitude of 1500 m in New Mexico, where the temperature can decrease to -30 °C below zero.
